Who is behind Screen Synergy?
An independent Australian company, based on the Gold Coast. We kept watching the same thing happen: people meet on set, at a festival or in a casting room, swap a number or a paper card, and the connection quietly disappears. Meanwhile the work itself sits scattered across IMDb, ArtStation, Spotlight, a reel on Vimeo and a few social accounts, with nothing holding it together. The tools that did exist were built for influencers selling products, not for a crew list or a casting call. So we built the one we wanted: a single link that carries your work, your credits and your contact details, and hands them over in the two seconds you actually have.
Is it actually free?
Yes. Your slate, full profile, link sections, showreels, QR code, save-to-contacts and email signature are free forever for individuals, with no time limit and no card required. Two things are metered rather than locked: Wallet passes (one download a month on Free, three on Pro, and extra downloads cost Reel Coins) and lead slots. Pro adds who viewed your slate, private request-to-view links, exact endorsement counts and personalisation.
How is this different from a link-in-bio page?
Those were built for creators selling merch. This is built for the screen industry: IMDb, ArtStation, Spotlight, Casting Networks, Backstage and the rest are first-class, your showreels play inline, your crafts and departments are real taxonomy, and the whole thing lives in a Wallet pass people keep.
Does the person I meet need an account or an app?
No. They point a camera at your QR and your details save to their phone like any contact. Nothing to install, no account, no sign-up wall. That is the point.
Is my phone number and email out in the open?
Only if you want them to be. Every contact field is set to public or connections-only, one by one. Anyone can still reach you through your slate without seeing a thing, and you decide who gets the details.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
Your slate stays online and your links keep working. Nothing is deleted. The Pro extras stop: viewer analytics goes back to totals, endorsement counts show as ranges again, and any private request-to-view links stop appearing publicly until you are Pro again. Everything is still there, waiting, and the card people already have still opens.
If I change my links, do I need a new QR code?
No. Change your links, reels, photo or role as often as you like: your slate address stays put and every card you have handed out, plus every pass in someone else's Wallet, updates with you. The one thing to know is that you can rename your slate address yourself in Settings, and if you do, anything already printed with the old address will point to the old one. Rename before you print, not after.
Can I take my data with me, or delete it?
Both, whenever you like. Download everything we hold as a single file from Settings, or delete your account: your slate goes dark immediately and everything is erased for good after 30 days, with the whole window to change your mind.
Where is Screen Synergy available?
Anywhere in the world, with one exception right now: sign-ups from the EU and UK are paused for a short time while we finish our data-protection representation there. Everything else is open, and existing accounts are unaffected.
